A little bit of sidecar history

Keith's intention was to build a sidecar outfit that would use the most advanced motorcycles of the time, while still retaining comfort, handling and most importantly safety. Achieving these criteria was by a combination of a beautifully crafted and engineered body and chassis, and rigidity of attachment to the bike as a result of Unit Sidecars renowned leading link forks, and a completely different concept in sidecar manufacture. Over the years the constant changes to the design and power characteristics of motorcycles, has meant that Unit Sidecars has been constantly busy with development. The expert understanding of Keith Wash and the team, has enabled Unit Sidecars to bring what was once considered a veteran configuration, to the modern, advanced and eagerly sought after pairing used by enthusiasts world-wide today. So, what of Unit Sidecars now? The company has gradually,
over the last 22 years, expanded to encompass and serve the ever growing
trend in motorcycling. Unit Sidecars are proud that their sidecars can
be found across Europe and North America. Their unique leading
link forks and suspension ensure that
any of their sidecar designs can be fitted to over 300 different
models of motorcycle, ensuring comfort, handling and safety. Still,
after 22 years, the most important criteria they work to. Meet the "H" Team
