News Flash - 22nd November 2009 We are sorry for any inconvenience for customers trying to contact us, please note our new details in the contact us page.We are still trading and will update this site with more info as soon as possible. News Flash - 9th March 2009 One month down already and we have realized just what a steep learning curve we are on. News Flash - 9th Feburary 2009 The Hedingham Sidecar product has been saved from extinction by entrepreneur Richard Jefferies. Mr Jefferies was in the process of setting up his own glass fibre moulding company when he learnt, through a former colleague Alan Gurden of Ongar Motorcycles, that Unit Sidecars had ceased trading. After phone calls and meetings the remnants of the business were purchased and the iconic Hedingham Sidecar was saved, not the best timing in the world said Mr Jefferies but with some reorganisation and updating I feel this will be a successful bolt on addition to my existing company. Mr Jefferies association with the Hedingham goes back a long way as he made all the GRP bodies from 1982 until 2001 and helped with the development in body designs along the way. Mr Jefferies intends to resume business as soon as possible assuring all existing customers and of course the new ones that they all will have their queries ( and orders ! ) fulfilled. The original land line number will be used ( connection should be by the end of Feb ) along with a new fax number, web and mail addresses and a mobile will also be available. The use of the original number along with Unit sidecars Workshop as the postal address and the synonymous Hedingham brand will all hopefully ensure a smooth transition and help promote future sales.
